How do I record a voice entry?
Tap the record button at the bottom of the screen. Speak naturally about what you accomplished. When finished, tap stop. Speakfolio's AI automatically structures your recording into organized fields: Title, Summary, Context, Action, Result, and Impact.
Can I edit entries after recording?
Yes. After the AI structures your entry, you can edit any field before saving. You can also edit saved entries later from History or the entry detail screen. Each edit creates a new version, so you can compare changes or revert to previous versions.
How does the streak system work?
Record at least one entry per day to maintain your streak. The counter shows on your Home dashboard. Optional streak warnings notify you if you haven't recorded by evening. Streaks reset to zero if you miss a day.
What output formats can I generate?
Performance reviews, handover documents, and resume bullets. Export as PDF, Word, or plain text. Free accounts get 5 AI-generated outputs per month. Premium accounts have unlimited generation.
Is my data secure?
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Voice recordings use encrypted cloud storage. Authentication is managed by SOC 2 Type II certified providers. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, all entries, voice recordings, and generated outputs. This action cannot be undone.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Speakfolio, then Cancel. You'll have access until the end of your billing period.
The app isn't recording audio
Make sure Speakfolio has microphone permission: iPhone Settings > Speakfolio > toggle Microphone on. If it persists, force-close the app and reopen. Still having trouble? Email support@speakfolio.app with your device model and iOS version.
